A spider hanging in a woven web

The Gympie Times - - NATION -

For the web You will need

A paper plate; white string or wool; hole punch How to create

Cut out the middle of the plate. Punch holes evenly all around the edge.

Cut a length of string/wool. Tie to one of the holes and then weave through other holes to make a pattern.

When you are happy with your web tie the end to a hole and cut off the excess string. For the spider

You will need

Plastic bottle lid; black acrylic paint; craft glue or double sided tape; goggle eyes; two black pipe cleaners How to create

Paint the lid black and leave to dry. Glue on the eyes.

Cut the pipe cleaners in half so you have four pieces.

Use glue or tape to attach the middle of the pipe cleaner lengths to the back of the lid. You will end up with eight legs sticking out.

Secure the spider to the web by its pipe-cleaner legs.
