Us­ing 2.5mm nee­dles and yarn A, cast on 72 sts. Join to work in the round, be­ing care­ful not to twist sts. Rnd 1: (K2, P2) to end of round. Join in yarn B. Work Cuff chart 18 times around. Work as set un­til all 31 rnds of chart have been com­pleted. Next 2 rnds: With yarn A, work as Rnd 1. Change to 2.75mm nee­dles. Next round: Knit, inc 12 sts evenly around. 84 sts. Work Tri­an­gle Mo­tif chart 7 times around. Work as set un­til all 10 rnds of Tri­an­gle Mo­tif chart have been com­pleted twice, then work rnds 1-5 once more.

THUMB OPEN­ING

Right hand Work 42 sts as set, put the next 16 sts on hold, work to end of rnd as set. Left hand Work 63 sts as set, put the next 16 sts on hold, work as set to end of rnd. Both hands Next rnd: Work as set to thumb open­ing, Cast on 16 sts al­ter­nat­ing colours as needed to work ac­cord­ing to Tri­an­gle Mo­tif chart, work as set to end of rnd.

Con­tinue in patt as set un­til all 10 rnds of Tri­an­gle Mo­tif chart have been worked 6 times from top of cuff, then work rnds 1-5 once more.

FIN­GER­TIP SHAP­ING

Note: Move marker at beg of rnds 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Work Fin­ger­tip Shap­ing chart 7 times around. When all 6 rows of chart have been com­pleted, 14 sts rem. Cut yarns and draw tails through re­main­ing sts. Pull gen­tly to close top and fas­ten off.

Put 16 held sts below thumb open­ing on nee­dles. Al­ter­nat­ing 1 st A and 1 st B, pick up and knit 1 st on first side of thumb open­ing, 16 sts across sts cast on above thumb open­ing, 1 st on se­cond side of thumb open­ing. 34 sts.
