“THE UPPER section of this cardigan is worked from side to side; then, from that section, stitches for the lower section are picked up and worked downward,” says designer Rosemary (Romi) Hill. “As a result, the lace panels appear in horizontal bands across the upper body and sleeves. It is knitted in a high-twist yarn with beautiful silken drape, and the relaxed asymmetrical closure adds an elegant finish.”
