a summer meadow, this raglan cardigan features bands of daisies, and is sized to fit girls aged five to 12 years. It would be a great way to try steeking for the first time, as it’s a relatively small project. The garment is worked in the round to the armholes, incorporating a column of extra steek stitches that are later cut open once the sleeves have been joined to work the yoke. Lisbet Clements has knitted her cardigan in Snældan 2ply, a 4ply-weight yarn that blends Faroese wool with Falkland Islands merino.
