LACE PANEL

Us­ing 3.25mm nee­dles, cast on 22 sts. Work Lace Panel over all sts un­til work meas 92 ( 94: 97: 99: 102: 105: 108: 112: 116: 119) cm when slightly stretched, end­ing af­ter a WS row. Cast off. Sew cast-on edge to cast-off edge, be­ing care­ful not to twist. Sew raglan seams, leav­ing cast-off edges of body un­worked. Pin lace panel in place around yoke, eas­ing ex­cess fab­ric, with side (garter) edge of lace panel join­ing cast-off edges of back, front and sleeves, with cast on/off seam cen­tred at back. Sew in place. Sew sleeve and side seams. Block lightly, fol­low­ing any yarn care in­struc­tions on the ball band. Weave in ends.

The shaped hem is formed us­ing short rows, and is em­pha­sised by the var­ie­gated yarn
