Until now, Erika Knight’s British Blue yarn had only been available in 25g balls. Fans of this gorgeous Bluefaced Leicester wool - and its sumptuous colour palette - will be delighted to hear that it is now sold in 100g hanks, too.

To celebrate, there is a new collection of patterns for men and women, designed by Erika, Emma Wright, and Jeanette Sloan. They have been influenced by Charleston, the spiritual home of the Bloomsbury Group.

Pattern leaflets include ‘Molly’, a feminine sweater with trellis lace panels and frilled shoulders. ‘Angelica’ is an A-line sweater with a patchwork of cable and Aran stitches, and ‘Dora’ is a kimono-style top ideal for layering.

Other relaxed designs with an artistic feel include ‘Virginia’, a loose tunic with asymmetric cable details, and ‘Duncan’, a slim-fitting vest for men with horizontal and vertical rib patterns. Digital patterns cost £4 each. Find details at or on
