Juliet Bernard

The former editor of The Knitter, Juliet now works as a consultant to the yarn industry, and continues to design and teach. She enjoys exploring the possibilities of stranded colourwork, and this month she brings us a vibrant scarf on page 9, as well as an elegant hat design on page 60.

Barb Brown

Barb is a designer and lifelong knitter who lives in Alberta, Canada. She has a passion for folk art-inspired motifs and traditional socks, which she combined in her 2011 book Knitting Knee-Highs. Her latest design for The Knitter is a pair of beautiful lacy socks. Find Barb’s pattern on page 67.
