If you haven’t checked out these brilliant movie-length episodes about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s substanceabusing super sleuth, do yourself a favour and catch up with these re-runs. Benedict Cumberbatch (pictured) is perfect for the role of Sherlock Holmes, and the chemistry between him and Martin Freeman, who plays his right-hand man and occasional whipping boy Dr John Watson, is about as good as it gets on the small screen. In tonight’s season three opener, Sherlock comes back from the dead just as London is under threat of a terrorist attack.
