ELEVEN, 8.30pm, PG (1995)
This remake of the 1954 romantic comedy classic which starred Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart isn’t quite in the same class but the basic premise is enough to elicit some hearty laughs. Julia Ormond plays a chauffeur’s daughter in love with playboy Greg Kinnear from afar. When Kinnear finally notices her, his brother (Harrison Ford) tactically steps in to woo her so that Kinnear can find a wife from another rich family. A saggy middle lets down what could have been a fresh update of BillyWilder’s hilarious tale.
