France charges 4 for Kim heist

FRENCH prose­cu­tors have charged four sus­pects over the rob­bery of re­al­ity TV star Kim Kar­dashian-West.

On Oc­to­ber 3, jew­ellery worth more than $13 mil­lion was stolen from a Paris apart­ment when at­tack­ers wear­ing ski masks forced their way into where Kar­dashian was stay­ing and held her at gun­point be­fore leav­ing with the jew­ellery.

Au­thor­i­ties be­lieve the rob­bery was an in­side job.

A 63-year-old man has been charged with armed rob­bery in an or­gan­ised gang, kid­nap­ping and crim­i­nal as­so­ci­a­tion.

A 44-year-old man has been charged with com­plic­ity and kid­nap­ping.

A 64-year-old man has been charged with han­dling stolen goods and crim­i­nal as­so­ci­a­tion.

They re­main in cus­tody with six oth­ers.

Gary Madar, 27, brother of Kar­dashian’s Paris chauf­feur, Michael Madar, has been charged with com­plic­ity and is on bail.
