Truck burst into flames at Byfield
A TRUCK BURST into flames on Byfield and Stoney Creek Roads yesterday morning with emergency services rushing to the scene.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services received the call about 6.55am and deployed two crews to the area where it appeared a truck caught fire near a business premisses.
One QFES crew arrived to find the operations manager of the business had extinguished the flame.
Authorities had initial concerns with a leaking diesel supply tank on the rear of the inflamed truck but shifted the fuel after the flames were extinguished.
Queensland Police Service reported the incident as non-suspicious.
Livingstone Shire Council had no further information on the spill to the roads affected.
