It’s show time
Country fun this weekend at the North Coast National
SEGWAY rides, laser clay shooting, lawn mower races and monster trucks will all be part of the fun at the three-day North Coast National Norco Lismore Show at the Lismore Showground.
The show kicked off yesterday and will continue until tomorrow, Saturday, October 21.
One of Australia’s biggest shows, The North Coast National is celebrating its 132nd year with a huge line-up of entertainment, exhibitors, carnival rides, showbags, free kids activities, beef cattle, dog, goat and cat competitions and the grand parade, including the showgirl announcement.
Organisers have put together a massive program that showcases the best of rural life.
It includes local food, baking, needlework, cakes, vegetables, homebrew, chook art, photography and horse events.
The official welcome and parade into the main arena will be held tonight from 6.30pm and will include the showgirl announcement.
AMBASSADORS: Entrants in this year’s North Coast National Showgirl competition. The winner will be officially announced at the North Coast National at the Lismore Showground tonight.
