Be prepared to be scared

The Northern Star - - WEEKEND -

AUSSIE World will host one of Australia’s largest family Halloween events with three nights of spooktacular fun.

It begins with a “Friday the 13th” Halloween FestEvil aimed to frighten the daylights out of teens and adults. This will be followed by a Halloween Eve Masquerade Ball on October 27 in The Shed, and the grand finale event will be on October 28 with spine-tingling fun for the family.

Last year’s launch of the Mayhem Maze at Halloween FestEvil proved a favourite by providing a horror experience with live actors and life-like animatronics inside its nine rooms as well as extensive props, sounds, smells, special effects and hidden chambers.

Four new mazes have been added, some ideal for the kids and others for the brave. On Friday the 13th roving entertainment, laser-light displays, live stage shows and unlimited access to Aussie World’s rides and attractions will be a hit. On October 28 all the above action will be enhanced with fireworks and an additional maze for the littlies.

Accommodation options abound in nearby Caloundra so families can make a mini holiday of Halloween this year.
