IT’S light, cam­era, ac­tion in the screen and me­dia de­part­ment at Lis­more TAFE af­ter cy­clone Deb­bie de­stroyed much of its equip­ment. Al­most all of the de­part­ment’s cam­eras and equip­ment were de­stroyed by the wa­ter that in­un­dated the Lis­more cam­pus. But six months later, they’re at it again, screen­ing an­other great of­fer­ing of short film and me­dia projects from a great se­lec­tion of tal­ented and com­mit­ted film mak­ers. The ap­pro­pri­ately ti­tled

Washed Up Shorts is screen­ing at the Lis­more City Hall Dance Stu­dio on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 23. The bar will be open from 6.30pm with films screen­ing from 7pm. En­try is free. Al­though the screen­ing is open to all ages, there is a warn­ing that these films do con­tain some adult themes, vi­o­lence, and coarse lan­guage.
