IT’S light, camera, action in the screen and media department at Lismore TAFE after cyclone Debbie destroyed much of its equipment. Almost all of the department’s cameras and equipment were destroyed by the water that inundated the Lismore campus. But six months later, they’re at it again, screening another great offering of short film and media projects from a great selection of talented and committed film makers. The appropriately titled
Washed Up Shorts is screening at the Lismore City Hall Dance Studio on Thursday, November 23. The bar will be open from 6.30pm with films screening from 7pm. Entry is free. Although the screening is open to all ages, there is a warning that these films do contain some adult themes, violence, and coarse language.
