I’M a bit confused as to why are people feeling sorry for this cop. He wasn't just over the limit, he was four times over and if, by his actions, he had caused an accident that hurt or killed someone, would people still be excusing his actions? In his years of serving the police, I'm sure he would of seen what devastation drink driving can do and yes people do make mistakes but in his position he should of know better. If the shoe was on the other foot would he be making excuses for the person involved? I don't think so. — Tom Krautz
