It’s movie time in Yep­poon to­day with youth movies at Yep­poon Town Hall. Start time is 4pm with The Smurfs: The Lost Vil­lage (G) - 4pm to 5.30pm and Beauty and The Beast (PG) - 6.30pm to 8:45 pm. Cal­liope Crafty Capers is hold­ing its Girly Things work­shop as part of its school hol­i­days ac­tiv­i­ties. It is for girls aged be­tween 5 and 14 years of age. Con­ver­sa­tional English is be­ing held at North Rock­hamp­ton Li­brary at 10.30 this morn­ing. Prac­tice your English lan­guage in a re­laxed, in­for­mal set­ting while meet­ing new peo­ple in the com­mu­nity. There’s lots of live mu­sic on in Glad­stone tonight and over the week­end. For some Fri­day night en­ter­tain­ment our very own Hay­ley Marsten, pic­tured, is play­ing at the Queens Ho­tel while band Grid­lock is ap­pear­ing at the Rocky Glen Ho­tel. At the Tan­num Sands Ho­tel the TBirds hit the stage at 8.45pm for a great night.
