The Observer - - NEWS -

ADANI’S Carmichael project is something many people in Central Queensland have been waiting for, however the question has been what, if any, benefits there will be for Gladstone.

Gladstone Engineering Alliance’s September 13 industry briefing will address those questions.

Adani regional content manager, Ben Hughes and Australian Business Consulting and Solutions business advisor Rod Murray will be presenting at the event.

Mr Hughes will speak about Adani's local content plan and how local business can become tender ready for the Carmichael project.

Mr Murray will be talking about how business can develop better practices and provide information on entering joint ventures and collaborating with other local businesses to win larger tenders.

On Monday the Indian company announced construction would begin on the project in October.

It will cost $40 for GEA members and $60 for non members to go to the event.
