First time on meth

GLAD­STONE woman asked the mag­is­trate not to record a con­vic­tion af­ter plead­ing guilty to driv­ing while the drug, meth was present in her sys­tem and while her li­cence was SPER sus­pended. The woman told the court­room it was her first and only time smok­ing the drug and a con­vic­tion would hurt her fu­ture job prospects in be­com­ing a youth worker. She was lucky this time and no con­vic­tion was recorded, how­ever the 25-year-old was fined $650, and lost her li­cence for two months.
