GetUp slams hiring of lobbyist

The Observer - - NEWS NATION -

ACTIVIST group GetUp has slammed the hiring of Adani coal mine lobbyist Cameron Milner to help the government of Annastacia Palaszczuk (pictured) run her Queensland election campaign. The Australian reports that after playing a role in her 2015 election win, Mr Milner is back at Labor headquarters. “The Palaszczuk Government is making decisions about Adani’s royalties, infrastructure and environmental approvals. It’s a massive conflict of interest to have Adani’s lobbyist engaged in her election campaign,” GetUp spokesman Sam Regester said.
