Premier focus is on majority

The Observer - - NEWS -

PREMIER Annastacia Palaszczuk has refused to say whether she would send voters back to the polls should they deliver a hung parliament on November 25.

Ms Palaszczuk formed government with the help of independent Peter Wellington in 2015 but has ruled out deals with One Nation, Katter’s Australian Party and the Greens.

But when asked repeatedly yesterday if she would rule out sending voters back to the polls should another hung parliament eventuate, the Premier would not answer.

“I’m not dealing with hypotheticals.,” she said.

“I am focused on a majority. What we need is a majority.”
