Li­cence gone

KA­T­RINA Ellen Nash had al­ready run out of de­merit points when she was pulled over by po­lice at Boyne Is­land ear­lier this year.

On Tues­day Glad­stone Mag­is­trates Court heard she had been fined for speed­ing four times this year and that her li­cence had been sus­pended. Mag­is­trate Me­lanie Ho ac­cepted Nash’s need for a driver’s li­cence in or­der to keep her business afloat and im­posed the manda­tory min­i­mum dis­qual­i­fi­ca­tion of six months.

Nash was fined $500 and a con­vic­tion was recorded.
