Boom Carlton recruit Tayla Harris will take on her former teammates for the first time when the Blues host the Lions on Saturday night.

No doubt the forward will get some extra attention after she questioned the professionalism at the Lions, which didn’t go down all that well with her old club.

The Blues have lost their best player in Brianna Davey, who ruptured her ACL last weekend, but the ladder leaders have still opened as $1.70 favourites with Ladbrokes.

“Carlton’s forward line will be the winning difference, with Tayla Harris and Darcy Vescio a formidable duo inside the arc,” Ladbrokes head AFL bookmaker John Seaton said. “Expect them to share in 4 or more goals.”

The Adelaide Crows ($2.10) are expected to be without Erin Phillips once again and are outsiders to beat the Western Bulldogs ($1.73), while premiership favourites Melbourne ($1.45) are dominant favourites to account for Fremantle ($2.75).
