ENERGETIC POOCH LUNA LIKES TO DO THE BOARDWALK
DON’T panic, you’re not barking mad — that really is a blue-eyed Australian shepherd hitting the streets on a skateboard.
Luna, a three-month old pup, has got skills envied by fellow canines and, with the wind behind her, can reach speeds of 5km/h an hour.
The energetic pooch is fast gathering speed and popularity in Cronulla and Gymea where crowds of young fans chase her, mobile-phone video rolling, in a bid to capture her skills.
Luna has been learning to skateboard with the help of her animal behaviourist owner Tamika Lucock.
“People love Luna and when they see her skateboarding they tear down the street after her to film her and clips of her on social media are going viral,” Ms Lucock, 23, said.
“My aim is to get her on a surf board by the summer and she’s almost ready for the ocean now.”
Instagram images of Luna document her colourful life from the day she was born.
