Trump’s daughter holds no sway

The Queensland Times - - NEWS | WORLD -

DONALD Trump’s eldest daughter, whom many hoped and believed would be a moderating influence on the President, has claimed she has no power to change his mind on issues he feels strongly about. Ivanka Trump said she also declined to speak out publicly about issues on which she disagreed with her father, because it would be an act of disloyalty. “To voice dissent publicly would mean I’m not part of the team,” she said in an interview with the Financial Times. “That doesn’t mean everyone in the White House has homogeneous views. We don’t, and I think that’s good and healthy, but that doesn’t mean we’re publicly undermining (each other) and this administration.”
