FORMER CRICKETER A MODEL OF CONSISTENCY, AT THE TRACK

The Queensland Times - - Sport / Racing -

THE Ian Dionysius owned and trained Snowball Otto has been a real model of consistency of late. Just like Dionysius was in his cricket playing days. Overall, the son of Spring Gun and Snowball Run has won 15 races from 47 starts for $26,073 in earnings. The dog scored a strong win in last Saturday’s John Pay Memorial fifth grade final at the Showgrounds. Snowball Otto has not been out of the money during this month of June and the month prior. Since May 1, he has had 10 starts for seven wins, one second and two thirds. Yamanto based Dionysius is well known as one of the best all-round cricketers to have played the game in Ipswich. With the bat he amassed 8368 runs at an impressive average of 37. Dionysius has Snowball Otto engaged at the Showgrounds tomorrow, drawn box eight in race five over 431 metres at 6.09pm.
