SEVEN-TIME consecutive winner Brady Threlfall will be back to take on another EchucaMoama Sweat versus Steam Fun Run in 2017.
The marathon marvel will be difficult to beat having finished as outright winner of the 12.5 km run against PS Adelaide in 2015 in under 41 minutes.
The fastest time from the 12 km run in 2016 was 44 minutes and 26 seconds, and surprisingly it wasn’t recorded by Threlfall — he missed the event while travelling around Europe after running his first Berlin marathon.
Instead Bendigo’s Andrew Creer was the he outright winner and said he would be looking to run it again, but would need a lot quicker time if he’s to challenge Threlfall for the win.
Although this year’s run could see Threlfall ll potentially a little slow off the mark, considering ng he would have just completed his second Berlin in marathon on September 24.
The 2016 outright winner of the 5 km run,n Tarli Bird, will not be running this year, opening the doors for a new contender in the shorter course.
