Cham­bers to head­line River­boats

KASEY Cham­bers is set to head­line the 2018 River­boats Mu­sic Fes­ti­val.

The stel­lar line-up an­nounced to­day also fea­tures Neil and Liam Finn and Josh Pyke when the fes­ti­val fills Echuca’s Aquatic Re­serve from Fe­bru­ary 16-18.

Fes­ti­val di­rec­tor David Frazer said they have been pin­ing for Neil and Liam Finn to per­form at River­boats.

‘‘River­boats 2018 will present ar­guably the fes­ti­val’s most eclectic and ex­cit­ing line-up to date,’’ he said.

‘‘It’s been a dream of ours to wel­come Neil and Liam Finn to the fes­ti­val for many years.

‘‘And to be pre­sent­ing these phe­nom­e­nal artists along­side Aus­tralian icons in­clud­ing Kasey Cham­bers and Josh Pyke is some­thing we’re in­cred­i­bly proud of.’’

Other acts in­clude The Black Sor­rows with Vika and Linda Bull, The Teskey Broth­ers, Henry Wag­ons and The Only Chil­dren and Gawurra.

Moju Juju, Neil Mur­ray, Caiti Baker, Jazz Party, Tracy McNeil and The Goodlife and Eaten By Dogs round out the line-up.

Rock­wiz’s Brian Nankervis is back as the fes­ti­val MC and tick­ets are on sale now.

Pad­dlesteamer mu­sic cruises will be back with Tracy McNeil and The Goodlife, The Teskey Broth­ers, Henry Wag­ons and Jazz Party all do­ing one-hour cruises dur­ing the fes­ti­val.

The an­nual Fes­ti­val Break­fast re­turns to the Beech­worth Bak­ery on the Sun­day with live sets by Tracy McNeil and The Goodlife which is sure to sell out.

The fes­ti­val pass is $155 for adults and $75 for chil­dren, with fam­ily pack­ages priced at $375.
