Syn­ergy of colour on show

THE 63rd an­nual Echuca Moama Artists Inc. art ex­hi­bi­tion was held on the week­end in St. Mary’s Hall.

There were 160 works from 53 artists ex­hib­ited over the three day event.

Pres­i­dent of the Echuca Moama Artists Inc. Maryann Jenk­ins said the va­ri­ety of art­works al­lows view­ers to ap­pre­ci­ate the true colours, tex­tures and scale of the art­work.

‘‘There are artists from all over the re­gion, which in­cludes parts of NSW,’’ she said. ‘‘We would also like to thank all of the gen­er­ous spon­sors.’’

The win­ner of the Best in Show was made by artist Glenda Cor­nell of Nathalia, who named it ‘Like a Duck to Wa­ter’.

THE Foundry Art Space will of­fi­cially open its new ex­hi­bi­tion Syn­ergy of Colour on Satur­day. The ex­hi­bi­tion fea­tures works by Elly Weg­ner and John Stevens and will be dis­played from Friday to Novem­ber 12.
