Best agri-business Sponsored by HW Greenham and Sons

Respect the past but look to future

The Riverine Herald - - BUSINESS AWARD 2017 -

KY VALLEY Dairy was lost for words when it accepted the award for best agri-business.

As one of Australia’s largest family-owned dairy businesses, the company supplies fresh milk products to the Asia Pacific region.

The family farming heritage dates back to 1857 with brothers Wayne, Peter and David Mulcahy the fifth generation of a 160-yearold dairy farming legacy.

Mulcahy family values and experience have been developed through the years with a level of care and responsibility to create a sustainable and innovative group of businesses within the dairy industry.

Respecting the past but focused on the future, the vision is firmly on innovation, growth and sustainability for future generations.

The family has grown to become recognised as leaders across family business and the dairy industry.

Peter Mulcahy said the business was honoured to be at the event, let alone picking up an award.

‘‘It’s a terrific event and we are very humbled for this recognition,’’ he said.

‘‘We have grown from nothing to what we are today. Dairy is a great industry and we are very pleased to win with such great competition.’’ ■ Finalists were Biomix Pty Limited and The Strawberry Pick.
