Joshua Moss-Blake charged with bur­glary fol­low­ing crime spree

AN ECHUCA man has been charged over a crime spree across three towns last week.

Joshua Moss-Blake, 24, was ar­rested in An­der­son Rd, Echuca, about 3.30am Satur­day af­ter a ve­hi­cle al­legedly in­volved in the crimes was recog­nised by police.

He has been charged with four counts of bur­glary, two counts of theft and crim­i­nal dam­age, as well as evad­ing police and un­li­censed driv­ing.

Moss-Blake was bailed to ap­pear in Echuca Mag­is­trates Court yes­ter­day, where the mat­ter was ad­journed to Novem­ber 21 for a con­test men­tion.

The charges re­late to a bur­glary at Tatura’s golf club, Hill Top, where an at­tempt was made to break into the pokie ma­chines with­out suc­cess early Thurs­day.

Soon af­ter, thou­sands of dol­lars’ dam­age was then caused to a change ma­chine at a Kyabram car wash in Allen St about 5am.

Half an hour later, Cam­paspe Shire’s coun­cil build­ing in Ton­gala was hit and a $500 chain­saw stolen.

De­tec­tive Se­nior Con­sta­ble Ber­nadette Wadding­ton of Cam­paspe Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tion Unit said police were still look­ing for two other of­fend­ers.
