Joshua Moss-Blake charged with burglary following crime spree
AN ECHUCA man has been charged over a crime spree across three towns last week.
Joshua Moss-Blake, 24, was arrested in Anderson Rd, Echuca, about 3.30am Saturday after a vehicle allegedly involved in the crimes was recognised by police.
He has been charged with four counts of burglary, two counts of theft and criminal damage, as well as evading police and unlicensed driving.
Moss-Blake was bailed to appear in Echuca Magistrates Court yesterday, where the matter was adjourned to November 21 for a contest mention.
The charges relate to a burglary at Tatura’s golf club, Hill Top, where an attempt was made to break into the pokie machines without success early Thursday.
Soon after, thousands of dollars’ damage was then caused to a change machine at a Kyabram car wash in Allen St about 5am.
Half an hour later, Campaspe Shire’s council building in Tongala was hit and a $500 chainsaw stolen.
Detective Senior Constable Bernadette Waddington of Campaspe Criminal Investigation Unit said police were still looking for two other offenders.
She appealed to anyone with information to contact Echuca police on 5483 1558 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
