The Riverine Herald - - NEWS -

cancer, Mrs Fleming has had 34 newly diagnosed women referred to her this year.

The Mini Field of Women will run from 10am to noon.

There will be a ceremony at the front of the hospital, guest speakers, music and a morning tea.

Women wanting to be referred to a breast care nurse can phone 5485 5234. TWO former Murray Shire councillors have warned Barham Recreation Reserve Committee to be careful when installing two netball courts.

Because when Mathoura Recreation Reserve got it wrong it cost them the ability to host a football/netball grand final.

Murray River Council recently allocated $1350 to the Barham Recreation Reserve Committee.

The funding had come from the dollar for dollar grant program.

It will see a shelter installed at two netball courts to protect the netball game officials at the recreation reserve.

Council will approve the courts — making sure it is up to the appropriate standards — to avoid history repeating itself.
