Because when Mathoura Recreation Reserve got it wrong it cost them the ability to host a football/netball grand final.

Murray River Council recently allocated $1350 to the Barham Recreation Reserve Committee.

The funding had come from the dollar for dollar grant program.

It will see a shelter installed at two netball courts to protect the netball game officials at the recreation reserve.

Council will approve the courts — making sure it is up to the appropriate standards — to avoid history repeating itself.
