DE­TENTE Com­menced awk­wardly and dipped. Raced keenly through the early and mid­dle stages and wide through­out. Bumped out­wards un­bal­anced near the 850m. A post race Ve­teri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no ab­nor­mal­i­ties. Trainer was of the opin­ion that the mare would take ben­e­fit from to­day’s per­for­mance af­ter hav­ing last raced in March 2016. ELLENS CHOICE Raced wide from the 600m. MR MCBU Raced keenly through the early and mid­dles stages get­ting its head in the air on sev­eral oc­ca­sions. Brushed with an­other run­ner sev­eral oc­ca­sions over the fi­nal 100m.

RACE 3: SCOTTY BEAU Stead­ied when rac­ing keenly pass­ing the 700m. Lay out­wards in straight. Un­able to se­cure clear run­ning un­til pass­ing the 200m. FORTY FOUR RED Raced tightly be­tween run­ners ap- proach­ing the 250m. RACE 4: SWIFT PLAT­INUM Stead­ied from heels when crossed by an­other run­ner near the 900m. Lay out­wards round­ing the home turn. VARI­A­TION Com­menced slowly los­ing one length. JEF- FERSON Raced greenly in the straight and was un­able to se­cure a clear run over con­clud­ing stages. MALILANGWE Raced wide through the early stages and greenly in the straight. Rider re­ported that geld­ing did not travel strongly at any stage and failed to re­spond to her rid­ing in the straight. A post race Ve­teri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no ab­nor­mal­i­ties. Trainer’s foreper­son ad­vised that con­sid­er­a­tion will now be given to send­ing the geld­ing for a spell and he would ad­vise Ste­wards ac­cord­ingly. Trainer later ad­vised that the geld­ing will now be spelled. MY NAUGHTY BLONDE Raced keenly in the early and mid­dle stages. Rider ad­vised that his mount had a ten­dency to race greenly in run­ning.

RACE 5: KING LOUIE Held up on straight­en­ing and taken out­wards ap­proach­ing the 200m to ob­tain clear run­ning. TAKE IT LIKE A MAN Slow into stride, los­ing one length. Lay in­wards in the straight. BORN BLUE Im­peded for a short dis­tance on straight­en­ing. COME ON BOARD Slow into stride, los­ing one length. Raced keenly through the early and mid­dle stages. ROTANA BEACH Raced wide from the 500m. FERNGROVE Stead­ied when im­peded near 75m and con­tin­ued to be held up for clear run­ning for the re­main­der of the event.

RACE 6: GRINDABELLA A post race Ve­teri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no ab­nor­mal­i­ties. CALL NINE ONE ONE Bumped on jump­ing. DANABRESA Lay out­wards on straight­en­ing. Rider ad­vised that the mare was un­der pres­sure from the 600m and felt un­com­fort­able in its ac­tion. A post race Ve­teri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed the mare to have re­turned with a mildly el­e­vated heart rate. SAXAPAK Raced keenly through the mid­dle stages. SUNTRAPPER Com­menced slowly, los­ing one length. Lay in­wards over the fi­nal 150m.

RACE 7: BEG TO DIF­FER Bumped out­wards on jump­ing, los­ing one length. Mo­men­tar­ily in­con­ven- ienced and stead­ied out­wards ap­proach­ing the 800m and was again ap­proach­ing

the 600m. PRYING TOM Over-raced in the early and mid­dle stages. Rider re­ported that geld­ing raced greenly. STORMY GRACE Frac­tious in the bar­ri­ers prior to the start. Bumped shortly af­ter Raced keenly through the early and mid­dle stages. Bumped near the 300m. BJORN TO LOVE Dis­ap­pointed for clear run­ning and shifted out­wards by its rider abruptly ap­proach­ing the 250m in an at­tempt to se­cure a clear pas­sage. STU­DIO FIFTY FOUR Bumped pass­ing the 300m. BLACK GRAPE Raced keenly through early and mid- dle stages and shifted in­wards marginally when im­prov­ing onto the heels of an­other run­ner ap­proach­ing the 1250m. ECHOES IN TIME Rider ad­vised that due to mare com­menc­ing well from a wide bar­rier, it had raced in more for­ward po­si­tion than ex­pected. CLASSY CAT Raced keenly through the early and mid­dle stages. STRONG VAL­UES Dwelt on jump­ing, los­ing one length. Stead­ied when im­prov­ing onto heels ap­proach­ing the 800m. CHANCERY Lay out­wards in the straight.
