MISS SOMEBODY Rider reported the filly raced greenly when leading. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the filly will now be sent for a spell.
RACE 2: GRANMCDAWE Slow to begin. Blocked for a clear run from on straightening until the 200m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. CAPTIVATED POINT Bumped at the start. JESTAJINGLE Raced wide throughout. MORE ACES Taken outwards approaching the 300m and bumped and lay inwards in the straight. DETENTE Commenced awkwardly and dipped. Raced keenly through the early and middle stages and wide throughout. Bumped outwards unbalanced near the 850m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer was of the opinion that the mare would take benefit from today’s performance after having last raced in March 2016. ELLENS CHOICE Raced wide from the 600m. MR MCBU Raced keenly through the early and middles stages getting its head in the air on several occasions. Brushed with another runner several occasions over the final 100m.
RACE 3: SCOTTY BEAU Steadied when racing keenly passing the 700m. Lay outwards in straight. Unable to secure clear running until passing the 200m. EXPRESS SNOOPER Lay inwards in the straight. CASH ON CALL Raced wide throughout. ZEDFIRE EXPRESS Crowded at the start and steadied losing one length. FORTY FOUR RED Raced tightly between runners ap- proaching the 250m. HELL OF A STORY Commenced slowly losing one length. post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate and muscle soreness to the near hind. RANCHO MAN Raced keenly through early and middle stages, getting its head in the air passing the 800m. Raced wide from 700m. Lay inwards and steadied from the heels of another runner passing the 100m.
RACE 4: SWIFT PLATINUM Steadied from heels when crossed by another runner near the 900m. Lay outwards rounding the home turn. VARIATION Commenced slowly losing one length. JEF- FERSON Raced greenly in the straight and was unable to secure a clear run over concluding stages. MALILANGWE Raced wide through the early stages and greenly in the straight. Rider reported that gelding did not travel strongly at any stage and failed to respond to her riding in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer’s foreperson advised that consideration will now be given to sending the gelding for a spell and he would advise Stewards accordingly. Trainer later advised that the gelding will now be spelled. MY NAUGHTY BLONDE Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Rider advised that his mount had a tendency to race greenly in running.
RACE 5: KING LOUIE Held up on straightening and taken outwards approaching the 200m to obtain clear running. TAKE IT LIKE A MAN Slow into stride, losing one length. Lay inwards in the straight. BORN BLUE Impeded for a short distance on straightening. COME ON BOARD Slow into stride, losing one length. Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. ROTANA BEACH Raced wide from the 500m. FERNGROVE Steadied when impeded near 75m and continued to be held up for clear running for the remainder of the event.
RACE 6: GRINDABELLA A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. CALL NINE ONE ONE Bumped on jumping. DANABRESA Lay outwards on straightening. Rider advised that the mare was under pressure from the 600m and felt uncomfortable in its action. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with a mildly elevated heart rate. SAXAPAK Raced keenly through the middle stages. SUNTRAPPER Commenced slowly, losing one length. Lay inwards over the final 150m.
RACE 7: BEG TO DIFFER Bumped outwards on jumping, losing one length. Momentarily inconven- ienced and steadied outwards approaching the 800m and was again approaching
the 600m. PRYING TOM Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Rider reported that gelding raced greenly. STORMY GRACE Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Bumped shortly after Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. Bumped near the 300m. BJORN TO LOVE Disappointed for clear running and shifted outwards by its rider abruptly approaching the 250m in an attempt to secure a clear passage. STUDIO FIFTY FOUR Bumped passing the 300m. BLACK GRAPE Raced keenly through early and mid- dle stages and shifted inwards marginally when improving onto the heels of another runner approaching the 1250m. ECHOES IN TIME Rider advised that due to mare commencing well from a wide barrier, it had raced in more forward position than expected. CLASSY CAT Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. STRONG VALUES Dwelt on jumping, losing one length. Steadied when improving onto heels approaching the 800m. CHANCERY Lay outwards in the straight.
