The Sportsman Midweek - - Trackwork - — Ray Hickson

POTEMKIN (R4 No.5) is ready to win after two runs back and while he was a beaten favourite at Pakenham last time it was a very heavy track and kept finding the line. Better conditions here will suit and he has a good chance to go one better.

THREE POINT GENIUS (R5 No.8) caught the eye on debut at Benalla on a heavy track then again ran on strongly for a close second at Werribee. Wide alley is concern but the extra trip will suit and he should be hard to hold out.

ZELETTO (R8 No.1) couldn’t have been more impressive in his five length win at Wodonga second-up from a two year absence. Up a notch class but the opposition is no harder and the sting out of the track suits too. Capable of going on with it.
