Race 1: CALANDA – On ar­rival at the course was ex­am­ined by vet­eri­nary sur­geon and cleared to start. Had to be stead­ied away from heels near the 800m. I’M A RIPPA – Jumped awk­wardly and lost ground. Stead­ied from heels near the 800m. RINGO’S A ROCK­STAR - Ap­proach­ing the first turn com­menced to over­race and had to be re­strained from heels. Con­tin­ued to over­race for some dis­tance there­after and near the 600m shifted in, tight­en­ing an­other run­ner. DI­VINE DICE – Had to be re­strained form heels near the 800m. Checked 600m when tight­ened for room by RINGO’S ROCK­STAR. Bumped by an­other run­ner in­side the 100m. TAC­TI­CAL AD­VAN­TAGE – Held up from the en­trance to the straight un­til after leav­ing 100m and shifted in, bump­ing an­other run­ner. Lost its off hind plate in run­ning. HEROIC VALOUR – Raced wide with­out cover. Jockey O. Bos­son be­came ill after rid­ing in Race 1 and was stood down from his re­main­ing en­gage­ments. Rid­ing changes were made as per the Stew­ards Sum­mary Sheet CHALK – Raced wide with­out cover. DOU­BLE SU­PERLA­TIVE wide. HON­OUR’N’STRENGTH – A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed a slight pulse in the off fore hoof. Race 2: LE CHEF – Blun­dered shortly after the start and lost ground. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any sig­nif­i­cant ab­nor­mal­i­ties. SOLDI DOMANI – Stead­ied from heels pass­ing the 850m. Held up from en­trance to the straight and did not se­cure clear run­ning for the re­main­der of the event. SONY LEG­END – Stead­ied pass­ing the 800m. Held up from

en­trance to the straight un­til 100m. JIMMY REA – Raced in re­stricted room near the 600m, then held up for clear run­ning un­til after en­ter­ing the home straight. NANCY – Held up in the straight un­til con­clud­ing stages. MISS COVER GIRL – Held up in the straight un­til in­side 100m. IR­ISH CON­STAB­U­LARY – Held up from the en­trance to the straight un­til the 100m. MOGADOR – Laid in un­der pres­sure in straight. QUATRONIC Raced wide with­out cover. TOP TONE – Raced wide.

Race 3: The start of this race was delayed due to a mal­func­tion of the start­ing mech­a­nism. RELIGIFY – Jockey H. Bow­man re­ported at scale that, in his opin­ion, the rea­son for the dis­ap­point­ing per­for­mance at its pre­vi­ous start was pre­vail­ing track con­di­tions.

Race 4: SOLD FOR SONG – Change of tac­tics. To be rid­den back in the field. The horse was rid­den ac­cord­ingly. FRENCH EMO­TION – Jumped away awk­wardly. Had dif­fi­culty ob­tain­ing clear run­ning over the con­clud­ing stages. SAGARONNE – Jumped away awk­wardly. Had to be re­strained from heels after leav­ing the 600m and at­tempted to shift out, how­ever was pre­vented from do­ing so by run­ners to his out­side. SMART AMELIA – After rac­ing wide early was rid­den for­ward to ob­tain a po­si­tion closer the fence. TURBO MISS – After leav­ing the 900m was stead­ied away from heels. EXTENSIBLE – Pulled hard after pass­ing the 800m and had to be re­strained off heels. Laid out in early stages of the straight. SERENE MAJESTY - Had to be stead­ied form heels near the 200m. Raced wide. PIERATA –

wide with­out cover. MADOTTI – Raced wide.

Race 5: NICCANOVA – Ex­am­ined by the vet­eri­nary sur­geon after be­ing kicked in the en­clo­sure and cleared to start. Again ex­am­ined by the vet­eri­nary sur­geon at

bar­ri­ers and cleared to start. Held up round­ing the home turn. REALING - Ex­am­ined by the vet­eri­nary sur­geon after be­ing kicked be­hind the bar­ri­ers and was cleared to start. DREAMS APLENTY – Raced wide in the early stages un­til near

1000m, at which stage it was able to ob­tain a po­si­tion in the lead. CAERLESS CHOICE – Held up round­ing home turn and for the ma­jor­ity of the home straight. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any sig­nif­i­cant ab­nor­mal­i­ties. SAVVAN – Held up round­ing the home turn. Held in straight and did not ob­tain clear run­ning. SYLPHEED – Held up round­ing the home turn. LIP­STICK LOVER RIVER RACER – Held up in the straight un­til the 100m. OINK – Bumped near the 100m. TOP OF THE RANGE – Bumped ap­proach­ing

BILLY KID – Raced wide with­out cover. RHYMING – Raced wide and bumped near the 100m. CONGELATOR Checked near the 1400m. Jockey P. Ham­mer­s­ley, rider of OINK, was found guilty a charge of care­less rid­ing in that he per­mit­ted his mount to shift in near the 1400m when not fully clear of CONGELATOR, which had to be checked and lost ground when tight­ened for room between OINK BILLY THE KID. Jockey Ham­mer­s­ley was suspended from rid­ing in races for a pe­riod of 10 days, to com­mence at mid­night, 17 June and to ex­pire at 27 June. Raced wide through­out.

Race 6: SILKY BROWN – As T. Ag­land was to be over­weight, L. Cas­sidy was sub­sti­tuted as the rider of the horse. T. Ag­land was fined $200. Shifted in slightly near the 1300m and bumped an­other run­ner. CAP­I­TAL GAIN – Checked shortly after the start. Sub­se­quently raced wide. EMINENT – Change of tac­tics. To be rid­den more for­ward if cir­cum­stances per­mit. The horse was ac­cord­ingly. Bumped near the 300m. UP TRUMPZ – Change of tac­tics. To be rid­den off the pace if cir­cum­stances per­mit. Sub­se­quently raced wide with­out cover. Trainer J. Cleary ad­vised the geld­ing would be sent for an im­me­di­ate spell. MIS­HANI BULLITT – Shifted in at the start, tight­en­ing run­ners to its in­side. Held up early stages of the home straight. TAK­ING AIM – Ex­am­ined by the vet­eri­nary sur­geon on ar­rival at the track and cleared to race. Raced wide. MELODY BELLE – Shifted out and bumped an­other run­ner near­ing the 300m. Jockey D. Lane re­ported that with the ad­di­tion of blink­ers to­day filly over­raced in

early and mid­dle stages and for this rea­son he did not be­lieve it ran out a strong mile. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any sig­nif­i­cant ab­nor­mal­i­ties and a swab sam­ple was taken. PIERATA – Jumped away awk­wardly. Bumped near the 1300m. Held up round­ing home turn. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed the horse had been stripped on off hind­leg. Trainer G. Hickman ad­vised that the colt would now be spelled. LORD CE­CIL – Jumped away awk­wardly. ALOISIA – Tight­ened shortly after the start. Bumped by an­other run­ner near the 1400m. Obliged to steady at the 1300m. Had dif­fi­culty ob­tain­ing clear run­ning in early stages of the home straight. MAGNUFIGHTER – Checked shortly after the start. CHAR­LIE CHAP Held up round­ing the home turn.

Race 7: The start of this race was delayed when WU GOK cast its near fore plate dur­ing the pre­lim­i­nary and had to be re­plated be­hind the bar­ri­ers. FONTEIN LAD – Be­gan awk­wardly. Near

600m had to be checked away from the heels of a tir­ing run­ner and shifted out. VOLATILE MIX – Shifted in and bumped the run­ning rail near the 1600m and be­came un­bal­anced. Near the 600m had to be checked away from the heels of a tir­ing run­ner and shifted out. SIZZLING BUL­LET – Ham­pered near the 600m when a run­ner shifted out on its in­side. MONASTERIO - Ham­pered near the 600m when a run­ner shifted out on its in­side. BLACK ON GOLD – Had to be checked off heels near the 1600m. DAZ­ZLE EM SID – Raced wide in the early stages. SHOCK­ING LUCK Tight­ened for room near the 200m and made con­tact with a run­ner on its in­side. Jockey D. Browne and trainer J. Richards were un­able to of­fer any tan­gi­ble ex­pla­na­tion for the poor per­for­mance. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any sig­nif­i­cant ab­nor­mal­i­ties. MONGOLIAN WOLF - Bumped in­side the 200m. HERE HE COMES – Jockey L. Innes was fined $300 for us­ing his whip more than 5 times prior to the 100m and from

to the win­ning post. Race 8: IM­PEND­ING – Trainer D. Bead­man re­ported this morn­ing the horse had shifted its near fore plate yes­ter­day evening, which re­quired far­rier at­ten­tion. Sub­se­quently the sta­ble vet­eri­nar­ian in­spected the horse and passed it to race. On ar­rival at the track was again ex­am­ined the vet­eri­nary sur­geon and cleared to race. Bumped near the 800m. Raced wide with cover. COUN­TER­AT­TACK – Slow to be­gin. Held up upon straight­en­ing. HOOKED

Raced wide. JUN­GLE EDGE – When questioned re­gard­ing the dis­ap­point­ing per­for­mance, jockey K. For­rester ad­vised the horse did not ap­pre­ci­ate firm track to­day and, in his view, has come to the end of its prepa­ra­tion. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any sig­nif­i­cant ab­nor­mal­i­ties. MAC­IN­TOSH – When questioned trainer C. Waller ad­vised stew­ards that he had no con­cerns with the geld­ing’s sound­ness lead­ing into to­day’s race. The geld­ing was ex­am­ined by the vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion upon ar­riv­ing on course and was cleared to start. Bumped when crowded for room near the 800m. KAEPER­NICK – Be­gan awk­wardly. Jockey L. In­ness, rider of COUN­TER­AT­TACK, was charged with care­less rid­ing in that he al­lowed his mount to shift out near the 300m when not clear of KAEPER­NICK, re­sult­ing in KAEPER­NICK be­ing taken out to­wards the heels of ULMANN (L. Nolan) and hav­ing to be checked. As P. Maloney, rider of KAEPER­NICK, had left the course with­out per­mis­sion after be­ing ad­vised he had to at­tend an in­quiry, the matter was ad­journed. Rac­ing Vic­to­rian stew­ards were no­ti­fied P. Moloney is stood down from rid­ing in races un­til such time as he at­tends an in­quiry. EGYP­TIAN SYM­BOL – Over­raced in the early and mid­dle stages and was stead­ied from heels on a num­ber of oc­ca­sions. GOLD SYM­PHONY – Had to be stead­ied ap­proach­ing the 800m and had to

pleaded guilty to a charge of car­less rid­ing in that over the con­clud­ing stages he per­mit­ted his mount shift ground un­der pres­sure when not clear of ULMANN, re­sult­ing in that horse be­ing checked between GOOD PROJECT and EGYP­TIAN SYM­BOL. T. Berry was suspended from rid­ing in races for a pe­riod cov­ered by 12 days, to com­mence at mid­night, 17 June and to ex­pire at 29 June. RAGEESE - Raced wide with­out cover. IN HER TIME - Raced wide with­out cover.

Race 9: MORENDI – Stew­ards ac­cepted the ex­pla­na­tion for M. Cahill re­plac­ing P. Moloney as rider of the horse. NEV­ER­LAND – Be­gan awk­wardly. Had to be checked at the 1600m away from heels, and con­tin­ued to over­race for some dis­tance there­after. KAISER FRANZ – Ap­proach­ing the win­ning post the first time when steady­ing com­menced to race un­gen­er­ously and shifted out and in­con­ve­nienced an­other run­ner. Con­tin­ued to race un­gen­er­ously and had to be shifted away from heels near the 1500m. GRAND DREAMER – Ap­proach­ing the 1600m shifted out and had to be checked away from heels. SELF SENSE - Had at the 1600m away from heels. Shifted in near the 1500m and brushed run­ning rail. RUDY - Had to be checked at the 1600m away from heels. Laid in un­der pres­sure over the con­clud­ing stages. MY DAIMANTINE – Raced wide with­out cover in the mid­dle stages. CHOCANTE – Jockey J. Byrne re­ported at scale that, in his opin­ion, the rea­son for the im­proved per­for­mance was that geld­ing did not han­dle the track con­di­tions at Ea­gle Farm at its pre­vi­ous start.
