Race 1: 1 SEVERENCE 22/07/2017 Kem­bla Grange Was badly crowded on jump­ing. Mak­ing the first turn near the 1100m was stead­ied when briefly tight­ened. Stew­ards ap­proved ap­pli­ca­tion to ap­ply Blink­ers to last start win­ner on the ba­sis that trainer felt colt had worked bet­ter in the gear and been more fo­cused with the ad­di­tion of Blink­ers in its work. 2 DRAGON’S SHADOW 3/08/2017 Hawkes­bury When qst re rac­ing in the lead, trn std in­str rdr to be pos out of gates as geld­ing has not prev shown any gate speed in only race start. Added was in­ten­tion to lead, how­ever with blks on first time, af­ter be­gin­ning well & af­ter be­ing urged along out of gates, was able to obt lead­ing pos. When qst re geld­ing¿s imp perf, trn std in her opin­ion it had ben­e­fited with ad­di­tion of blks & was able to dic­tate terms when lead­ing. Added in her view geld­ing had de­rived ben­e­fit from its first start. 4 AU­GUS­TUS 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Held up for a short dis­tance round­ing the home turn. 6 PRIDE OF DARCI (NZ) 10/08/2017 Ta­ree Slow to be­gin. Passing the 550m was stead­ied from heels. 7 CAM­PAIGN 10/08/2017 Kem­bla Grange COT - To be rid­den more for­ward; set­tled back. Bounded on jump­ing and lost ground.

Race 2: 1 EXOTERIC (GB) 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Slow to be­gin and lost ground (3L). 2 ME­TE­O­ROL­O­GIST 3/08/2017 Coffs Har­bour In­clined to lay in down the straight. 4 BON EQUUS 17/08/2017 Gos­ford Raced keenly in the mid­dle stages. 5 QUEEN OF HEIGHTS (NZ) 2/08/2017 War­wick Farm For some dis­tance leav­ing the straight on first oc­ca­sion had to re­strained off heels and then near 1600m was checked & continued to be awk­wardly place on heels. Over­raced in the mid­dle stages and when stead­ied away from heels, shifted out and then was al­lowed to stride for­ward and race out­side the leader near 1000m.

Race 3: 2 AL MAH HAHA 2/08/2017 War­wick Farm COT - To be rid­den more for­ward; set­tled back. Passing the 100m shifted out. Over

fi­nal 40m com­menced to shift out & proved dif­fi­cult for rider to ride the colt out in his usual fash­ion. 5 SMARTEDGE 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Rdr std in­tent to have geld pos be­hind lead­ers but af­ter be­gin­ning fair, blun­dered, lost ground & mo­men­tum & de­spite be­ing rid­den along was un­able to muster speed to cross rnr & was left rac­ing wide with­out cover. Added then laid out from 500m, proved dif­fi­cult to ride & shifted ground no­tice­ably in straight. Post race vet rev no abs. Rdr re­minded of obli­ga­tion to ride mounts out fully to fin­ish. Co-trn since re­ported was sat­is­fied with geld post race cond & in­ten­tion was to cont with its prep. 7 SHAKHAN 19/07/2017 War­wick Farm Slow to be­gin. 10 SMOOTH LAND­ING 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park From its wide bar­rier, was stead­ied back & across run­ner af­ter the start. Ap­proach­ing 100m was stead­ied shifted out away from heels. Rdr ad­vised mount laid in in straight, how­ever, was re­minded of his obli­ga­tions to ride mount out fully to end of the race.

Race 4: 1 RE­ALISE PO­TEN­TIAL 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Re his rid­ing in the early part of the straight, rdr stated he fol­lowed an­other run­ner into the straight with a view to that run­ner tak­ing him into the race. Std when that run­ner did not quicken as he had an­tic­i­pated he then, af­ter be­ing briefly held up on heels, shifted to its out­side in or­der to im­prove and ob­tain clear run­ning ap­proach­ing the 200m. 3 WING SNIPPER 24/07/2017 Scone Be­gan awk­wardly and was bumped heav­ily at the start. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no ab­nor­mal­ity. 7 PHOEBE’S LASS 2/08/2017 War­wick Farm Made heavy con­tact with an­other run­ner on jump­ing, as a re­sult had to be checked when taken across heels. 8 BROCKTON PUNCH 30/07/2017 Sap­phire Coast Held up for some dis­tance on straight­en­ing on heels and had to be shifted in to ob­tain clear run­ning.

Race 5: 3 FORTENSKY 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park COT - To be rid­den more for­ward; led. Slow to be­gin. When qst, rdr ad­vised as in­formed to the Stew­ards, he had been in­structed to have the horse rid­den fur­ther fwd. Added was able to ob­tain a po­si­tion out­side the early leader, in his view with­out plac­ing early ex­cess pres­sure. When that rider com­menced to re­strain her mount, as he felt he would have had to re­strain un­duly to sit back off that horse, al­lowed mount to stride fwd & ul­ti­mately lead. 5 TAP THAT (JPN) 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park COT - To be rid­den more for­ward; led. 7 KOKOPU 10/08/2017 Kem­bla Grange En route to bar­ri­ers, dis­lodged its rider be­fore gal­lop­ing rid­er­less for a short dis­tance. Un­der­went vet exam af­ter ar­riv­ing at bar­ri­ers & was passed fit to start. 10 ARIGOLD 16/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Near 1200m in­clined to over­race. Then continued race keenly and was un­able be re­strained by its rider and shifted out & left rac­ing wide with­out cover for the re­main­der of the event. 11 CON­CES­SIONS 3/08/2017 Hawkes­bury A pos­trace vet exam re­vealed no abs.

Race 6: 1 AJANI 20/07/2017 Gos­ford Passing the 1000m brushed with an­other run­ner, as a re­sult be­came un­bal­anced. 5 CEN­TRO SU­PE­RIOR 2/08/2017 War­wick Farm Raced wide with­out cover through­out. 10 PERIZADA 2/08/2017 War­wick Farm Raced keenly in the mid­dle stages and got its head up. 11 EMI­NENT DUKE 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Laid out from the 500m. 15 ECCELLERE 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Raced wide and with­out cover through­out. 16 TIP TOP 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Crowded on jump­ing for room. Near the 700m was car­ried wider. When ques­tioned, rdr ad­vised that the pre-race in­ten­tion was to have horse rid­den qui­etly as it was at its most re­cent start.

Race 7: 2 HE’S A GIVEN 22/07/2017 Royal Rand­wick Be­gan awk­wardly. Held up for clear run­ning un­til passing the 200m. 2 HE’S A GIVEN 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick The Club’s Vet­eri­nary Of­fi­cer re­ported that an ex­am­i­na­tion of the geld­ing re­vealed it was dis­play­ing blood in its near­side nos­tril. Act­ing on vet­eri­nary ad­vice, the geld­ing was with­drawn at 12.44pm. Trainer ad­vised that a vet­eri­nary clear­ance would be re­quired and the geld­ing must gal­lop to the sat­is­fac­tion of the Stew­ards or bar­rier trial prior to be­ing per­mit­ted to race again. Vet clear­ance re­ceived & tri­alled W/Farm 14/8/17. 3 MEINER FRECCIA (JPN) 8/07/2017 War­wick Farm Slow to be­gin. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion did not re­veal any ab­nor­mal­i­ties. 6 BOLERO KING 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Slow to be­gin. Raced keenly in the mid­dle stages. In­side 200m raced in re­stricted room be­tween run­ners. 13 KELVINSIDE 27/07/2017 Beau­mont New­cas­tle Over­raced ap­proach­ing the first turn, com­menced to hang out and con­se­quently was un­able to main­tain its po­si­tion one off the fence and raced wide for

re­main­der of the event with­out cover. 16 CHOICE LARGA 10/08/2017 Kem­bla Grange Shortly af­ter straight­en­ing was dis­ap­pointed for a run to the in­side of an­other run­ner & as a re­sult was held up and un­able to be tested for the re­main­der of the race. 17 CHARM­ING LAD 16/08/2017 Can­ter­bury Park Slow to be­gin. Near 250m be­came un­bal­anced.
