The Sportsman Midweek - - Trackwork -

There are a couple of Saturday class and possibly carnival-level runners engaged at Hillside tomorrow including SPEEDEOR who was scratched form Saturday. He won all three starts last prep for Darren Weir including a first-up win over last Saturday’s winner Oak Door at this journey. He is very fast and takes on an easier assignment here. UNIQUE LOVELY (R5 No. 2) chalked up her own hat-trick prior to the break including two massive wins in town and will take tossing fresh. The two fields of fillies behind her at Moonee Valley Caulfield were strong for winter grade, and all though carrying a hefty weight here she does look handy one in the making. GOLD FONTEIN (R2 No. 1) is another who has appreciated the drop back to midweek level with a strong run behind Special Diva here last week. The extra furlong is in her favour to go one better, and she will get condition underfoot to produce best.
