Race 4: Lord Ten­nyson - con­nec­tions ad­vised would be rid­den closer to­day from the good draw; set­tled be­hind

leader. Held up for sev­eral strides pass­ing the 200m. Eased ap­proach­ing fin­ish­ing line when crowded for room by Cos­mic Lights which shifted in. Patch Adams - got its head up when over-rac­ing pass­ing the 1300m.. Goul­dian - raced wide without cover through­out.. When ques­tioned ap­pren­tice Ben Thomp­son re­ported he had been in­structed to be pos­i­tive on the geld­ing from the bar­ri­ers as it has been slow to be­gin in its re­cent starts. He added that the geld­ing re­sponded to his rid­ing and as a re­sult set­tled fur­ther for­ward.. Race 5: Al­mandin (GER) - con­nec­tions ad­vised would be rid­den back to­day; set­tled mid-field and raced three wide without cover. Laid in un­der pres­sure in the home straight which ne­ces­si­tated rider Ben Mel­ham hav­ing to pull his whip through the left hand pass­ing the 100m. Hans Hol­bein ( GB) - con­nec­tions ad­vised would lead to­day; set­tled out­side the lead­ing horse. Rul­ing Dy­nasty - in­con­ve­nienced at the start by Pa­co­dali (IRE) which shifted out. Kil­lar­ney Kid (NZ) - stead­ied at the 200m when tight­ened for room be­tween Time To Test, which shifted out slightly, and Pa­co­dali (IRE) which was shift­ing in. Second Bul­let - rider James Winks stated his mount trav­elled well in the early and mid­dle stages and was un­der pres­sure near 600m. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any ab­nor­mal­i­ties and a swab sam­ple was taken for anal­y­sis.. Bling Dy­nasty - rider Craig Wil­liams re­ported his mount felt amiss.. Race 6: Frankel My Dear - shifted out at the start and made con­tact with Bandipur. Sir­c­coni - got its head up and over-raced in the early stages when be­ing re­strained then raced three wide without cover un­til the 400m.. Taken out off its course at the 350m by Mu­raaqeb (Michael Walker) which shifted out. Rider Linda Meech ex­plained she had been in­structed to ride the colt with cover from its wide gate but was un­able do so and her mount re­sented be­ing re­strained and was there­fore caught wide without cover for the re­main­der of the event. When ques­tioned fur­ther, Linda Meech con­ceded that in hind­sight she should have made a de­ci­sion to go for­ward ap­proach­ing the 1000m and cross Cao Cao, al­beit that would have meant be­ing in a three wide po­si­tion without cover and ac­knowl­edged that would have been a bet­ter al­ter­na­tive than the sub­se­quent out­come. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion failed to re­veal any ab­nor­mal­i­ties. Lone Ea­gle - when rac­ing keenly pass­ing the 800m had to be stead­ied to avoid the heels of Cao Cao. Race 7: Heatherly - after be­ing frac­tious and hav­ing its head turned in its start­ing stall, was backed out un­der­went a vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion be­fore be­ing passed suit­able to race which de­layed the start of the race by ap­prox­i­mately two min­utes. OMal­ley - slow to be­gin. One More Daisy into stride. Sunday Es­cape - raced wide without cover. A post race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed the geld­ing to be lame in the near fore­leg and will re­quire a vet­eri­nary clear­ance prior to rac­ing again.. Jun­gle Edge - raced wide without cover.

Race 8: Grey Lion (IRE) - con­nec­tions ad­vised would be rid­den back from the wide draw; slow to be­gin and set­tled at the rear of the field. Im Feel­ing Lucky - slow to be­gin. Raw Im­pulse (GB) - slow to be­gin. Lord Du­rante had be eased near the 1200m avoid the heels of Tash­beeh (Cory Par­ish) which shifted in when not fully clear. Rider Stan Tsaikos was se­verely rep­ri­manded un­der the pro­vi­sions of AR145 for weigh­ing in in ex­cess of a half kilo­gram over his de­clared rid­ing weight. In as­sess­ing penalty Stew­ards took into ac­count his ex­cel­lent record.. Duke Of Brunswick - got its head up near the 1000m when over-rac­ing and be­ing eased off heels. Ap­pren­tice Chris Caserta re­ported his mount trav­elled well un­til placed un­der pres­sure where it failed to re­spond. Rider Cory Par­ish was is­sued with a se­vere rep­ri­mand for per­mit­ting his mount to shift in near the 1200m when not fully clear of Lord Du­rante re­sult­ing in that horse hav­ing to be eased.. Race 9: Ruet­tiger (NZ) - stead­ied at the 1100m to avoid the heels of Run­sati which was shift­ing in. Held up for clear run­ning ap­proach­ing the 200m. Tu­dor - stead­ied pass­ing the 1000m to avoid

heels of Smack­down (NZ), which shifted in away from Ruet­tiger (NZ) which had been shift­ing in.. Sov­er­eign Duke - raced three wide without cover. Red Alto - stead­ied upon straight­en­ing when dis­ap­pointed for clear run­ning be­tween Tu­dor and Smack­down (NZ) (Ben Allen) which was shift­ing out. Ap­pren­tice Jor­dan Turner stated his mount was un­der pres­sure through­out and in his opin­ion would be bet­ter suited over fur­ther dis­tance. Smack­down (NZ) - ap­pren­tice Ben Allen was cau­tioned and ad­vised to ex­er­cise more care for per­mit­ting his mount to shift out on straight­en­ing when not fully clear. Tad­dei Tondo - stead­ied ap­proach­ing the 100m when held up for clear run­ning.
