RACE 1: CLIFF’S EDGE (J. Allen) – shifted out on jump­ing away and con­tacted ECLAIR SUN­SHINE. SEBFIRE (P. Gatt) – raced keenly in the mid­dle stages of the event. ECLAIR SUN­SHINE (M. Neil­son) - jumped away awk­wardly and shortly there­after was in­con­ve­nienced by CLIFF’S EDGE, which shifted out on jump­ing away. Laid in un­der pres­sure in the straight. A post- race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. SHAR­ING SE­CRETS (C. Lin­dop) - jumped away awk­wardly. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties.

RACE 2: MANNERTONE (D. Horner (Jnr)) – eased out of the event in the vicin­ity of

600 me­tres and did not jump fi­nal two steeples. STREET OUT­LAW (B. Small) – eased out of the event in the vicin­ity 600 me­tres and did not jump fi­nal two steeples. All run­ners in this event were ex­am­ined by the Clubs Vet­eri­nary Sur­geon post-race, who re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties.

RACE 3: EMMOOKI’S DASH (J. Pot­ter) – hung out in the straight. A pos­trace vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. JET EX­PRESS (J. Bowditch) - a post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. VIN­TAGE GROVE (P. RACE 4: TRANS­FIXED (R. Black­more) – rider re­ported the geld­ing felt lame on pulling up. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. WHO SAYS I’M READY (NZ) (R. Cully) – shifted in slightly near the 600 me­tres. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed geld­ing was lame in the near fore­leg. Trainer ad­vised a Vet­eri­nary Cer­tifi­cate of Fit­ness would be re­quired prior to pre­sent­ing the horse for a fu­ture trial or race. TANGARA (B. Small) – near the 600 me­tres be­came award on the heels of SPACE INVADER, which af­ter be­ing re­strained dropped back in the field slightly. SPACE INVADER (D. Horner (Jnr)) – vicin­ity of the 600 me­tres raced in re­stricted room be­tween WHO SAYS I’M READY (NZ) and CELTIC PRINCE (NZ), which both shifted ground slightly and had to be re­strained. CELTIC PRINCE (NZ) (A. Rous­toby) – con­tacted hur­dle num­ber ten, stum­bled on land­ing dis­lodg­ing its rider. Rider ex­am­ined by the First Care Med­i­cal Per­son­nel and cleared of in­jury. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed the geld­ing was lame in near fore­leg. Trainer ad­vised a Vet­eri­nary Cer­tifi­cate of Fit­ness would be re­quired prior to pre­sent­ing the horse for a fu­ture trial or race. All other run­ners in this event were ex­am­ined by the Club’s Vet­eri­nary Sur­geon and re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties.

RACE 5: STORMCRAFT (J. Allen) – reared and was very awk­ward to be­gin, los­ing two to three lengths at the start. EVIL DREAMS (V. Wong) – laid out for a short dis­tance in­side the 600 me­tres. ASCENDANCE (J. Holder) - a post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. ENZO THE BARBER (J. Bowditch) – per­formed be­low ex­pec­ta­tions. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties.

RACE 6: CAP­TAIN DUFFY (E. Fin­negan) – raced wide with­out cover through­out the event. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. HOLY JUAN (P. Gatt) - un­der­went a pre-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion and passed fit to race. Rider re­ported the geld­ing made a res­pi­ra­tory noise on pulling up. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed ab­nor­mal up­per res­pi­ra­tory noise. Trainer ad­vised the re­sults of a laryn­go­scopic ex­am­i­na­tion and Vet­eri­nary Cer­tifi­cate Fit­ness would be re­quired prior to pre­sent­ing the geld­ing for a fu­ture trial or race. PEP­PER THE PIN (R. Clark) – lost its off hind pate dur­ing the event. WEATHER CHAN­NEL (J. Kah) - a post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties.

RACE 7: GAILO CHOP (FR) (J. Allen) - un­der­went a pre-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion and passed fit to race. Held up for clear run­ning from round­ing the home turn un­til in­side 300 me­tres. CASINO WIZARD (J. Holder) – awk­ward and slow to be­gin. Rider re­ported the geld­ing failed to fin­ish race off in the man­ner he ex­pected and was dis­ap­point­ing. A pos­trace vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties.

RACE 7: LORD ASPEN (M. Neil­son) – rider re­ported the geld­ing hung out through­out event. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. MAIL IT IN (C. Lin­dop) - a post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. HER­MOSA BEACH (E. Fin­negan) – rider ex­plained she had no spe­cific in­struc­tions but hav­ing re­gard for the pace in the event, she an­tic­i­pated to set­tle be­hind SERENELY DIS­CREET in the run which may have af­forded her a po­si­tion mid-field. She stated how­ever, hav­ing re­gard for the man­ner in which HER­MOSA BEACH be­gan and for­ma­tion of the field to her in­side and ap­par­ent lack of early pace, she elected to push for­ward rather than be­ing trapped deep and con­se­quently set­tled more for­ward than in­tended. Cor­rect weight for this event was de­layed to al­low J. Holder (CASINO WIZARD) to view the vi­sion of the start.

RACE 8: NOT SO LADY LIKE (NZ) (V. Wong) – over­raced in the early stages of the event. GAME OF WAR (J. Bowditch) – slow and awk­ward to be­gin. Shifted in shortly af­ter the start and clipped the heels of SUPREME POLARITY and stum­bled. ILGATTINO (P. Gatt) - over-raced in the early stages of the event. MISS IDEN­TI­FIED (T. Pan­nell) – rider re­ported mare did not travel at any stage dur­ing the event and when asked for an ef­fort was dis­ap­point­ing. A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no vis­i­ble ab­nor­mal­i­ties. EWAN MINE (S. Fawke) – Stew­ards granted per­mis­sion for S. Fawke to only claim 1kg of his al­lowance. S. Fawke was rep­ri­manded for be­ing over­weight un­der AR120(b). Over-raced in the early stages of the event.
