The Sportsman Midweek - - Trackwork - — Greg Spletter

I’VE GOTTA NEL (R3 No. 1) strikes a modest class three field for his resumption at Doomben tomorrow and can kick off his spring campaign with a win. He struck form last prep with consecutive victories at the provincials including a win over Mishani El Lobo before finishing close-up behind Our Beebee and Manias. He’s had two good hitouts on the trial track from the inside draw looks the best of day.

VINTAGE BEAUTY (R2 No. 2) has been battling on well in tougher assignments of late and gets her best chance to break through tomorrow against a small and average field. She led them up at the Sunny Coast two runs back before being rundown by Zouzoukakia, then again did all the work out in front only to be nabbed by Siliqua who ran well on the weekend. She comes in below minimum after claim and is a good bet. TROMMELSCHLAGEN (R4 No. 7) took on a very smart one in Snitzkraft first-up and we can expect marked improvement on the run as he drops back to lowly maiden grade. His form when last in work was very consistent at the Gold Coast and he’ll give a sight each way.
