GRAFTON (WED)

The Sportsman Midweek - - Camera Charts - — Shayne O’Cass

GO THE GANTRY (Race 4 No. 3) - is a locally trained son of Henny Hughes who has so far managed only 2 wins from 21 starts but he placed 15 times, 9 of those are seconds. He been racing very high degree of consistency this preparation namely ‘23323’ from his last four outings. has only missed a place once in 4 runs here at home and is 12s 1-8-1 at this distance. Ticks a lot of boxes entitled to chalk up a somewhat overdue but well earned win.

DORLOTER (Race 1 No. 4) - is a Coffs Harbour trained mare by the mighty Choisir. She has only won 3 from 26 which is not exactly a superior strike-rate but it is significant and a plus that one of her wins came as recently as Oct 28. That was as Bm50 at Casino so she’s up to a Bm59 now but it’s not a super strong field by any means. She’s drawn 4 of 7, good to see her in a small field again so she won’t have too many to get her way when lets down. RED DECK (Race 8 No. 7) - is a Gold Coast visitor from the David Kelly camp and we know he wins plenty of races our side of the Tweed. Red Deck is a handly little filly with a record 1-1-1 from her 6 starts. She ran a really good race here second-up then was doing good things late when 2.9-lens 5th of 14 in a Bm55 here again on Oct 31. Can peak on Wednesday; she’s certainly going to be in the finish with even luck.
