PORT LINCOLN (WED)

The Sportsman Midweek - - Camera Charts - — Shayne O’Cass

MISS MOSSY MCLAREN (Race 2 No. 7) - is somehow still winless after 18 starts. She has placed 6 times and bear in mind that the last start 2nd here on Oct 27 was by a bare 0.3-lens so in some ways she isn’t really a maiden. Technically though she is - and that is how she lobs in in this 1390 maiden plate where she gets every chance to finally shed the hoodoo. The negative is the gate, she will come in 4 horses but she will still be in 10 of 10. HOW JAMMY’S THAT (Race 4 No. 1) - is a locally trained gelding by Shaft who won a Silver Slipper on debut! This has only 1 from 21 but here are some compelling numbers; Track 4s 1-2-1, Dist 5s 1-0-1 and t/d 2s 1-0-1. He has his regular rider Jeffrey Maund up we’ll take gate 6 as a positive. We should also point out that the win, that 1 out of 21, came last start in a maiden here so at least he’s in P.B shape. SANDHILL JET (Race 3 No. 10) - is trained at Port by Andy Page who part owns the gelding. This 9YO chestnut son of Written Tycoon has won 6 from 57 and has placed 17 times. He is 19s 3-3-3 at Port and 7s 1-1-2. Comes off a 5th here at home on Oct 1. Quite a consistent horse over all and he is well worth look each-way of odds allow.
