Godol­phin duo primed for Caulfield as­sign­ment

WAR­REN HUNTLY EN­CRYP­TION has been kept on the fresh side since his barn­storm­ing vic­tory in the Dane­hill Stakes and heads to to­mor­row’s Blue Sap­phire at Caulfield for his next start.

James Cum­mings has kept him up to the mark with a jumpout in be­tween runs and he looked bright and fit cruis­ing over 1000m even in time last Thurs­day morn­ing.

Cum­mings has the son of Lonhro is in out­stand­ing or­der for to­mor­row’s as­sign­ment and he is sure to run well again.

CLOAK, also pre­pared by Cum­mings, has ar­rived at Flem­ing­ton in great shape and is likely to head to Caulfield to­mor­row for his first Vic­to­rian start.

Last Thurs­day he worked solo over 1200m cov­er­ing the jour­ney in 1.24.58 with his fi­nal 400m in. 24.57.

He is sure to ap­pre­ci­ate drop­ping back from stakes com­pany to­mor­row and his run two starts ago in the Spring Stakes at New­cas­tle should hold him in good stead at Caulfield.

The Nigel Black­iston-trained LADY OF FLAN­DERS has raced through the grades in good style this cam­paign and the daugh­ter of Vik­ing Ruler is hold­ing her con­di­tion well.

She looked strong and fit after work­out on Tues­day morn­ing, clock­ing 1.10.18 for

1000m and 25.77 for her clos­ing 400m.

Black­iston has given a solid ground­ing to chase some black-type over 1600m at Caulfield to­mor­row and is set to run to her best.

SO SI BON has been an enig­matic gal­loper through­out his ca­reer but he al­ways dis­played a high de­gree of tal­ent.

There was merit in his most re­cent per­for­mance be­hind Trekking at Caulfield at his first run since a geld­ing op­er­a­tion and he has trained on well since that out­ing.

He stepped out over 800m last Thurs­day morn­ing com­plet­ing the work­out in 53.73 and dash­ing home his last 400m in 24.11.

He’s a hard gal­loper to be too con­fi­dent about but the team at Lind­say Park ap­pear have him ready to run well sec­ondup at Caulfield to­mor­row.

SEBERATE and THE FOUNDER, also from the Lind­say Park op­er­a­tion, paired up for their work­out last Tues­day morn­ing and both horses head to Caulfield to­mor­row fol­low­ing that hit out.

They worked steadily to­gether over 1400m and kept close com­pany over the con­clud­ing stages to run dis­tance in 1.38.21 and their fi­nal 400m 27.36.

With re­cent rac­ing un­der his belt, The Founder is close to peak fit­ness is ca­pa­ble of be­ing in the fin­ish to­mor­row.
