SELF SENSE (R1 No. 5) has proven his versatility in recent weeks winning both on the flat and over the jumps and will give punters a great start to Cup day at Warrnambool. He accounted for a very strong stayer in Kiwia last start at Caulfield and that bloke looks a big show in the Cup later on the program. Prior to that he made a successful debut over the hurdles at Pakenham beating a small field by 10 lengths. He can jump, and will have too much class in running for his rivals here.
ARKHAM KNIGHT (R8 No. 13) finished close-up behind Manuel and subsequent winner Waging War at his most recent start and against a moderate open-grade line-up tomorrow gets his chance to break through. His effort two runs back in Listed company was at least as good behind Heart Of A Lion, and he should have just about won at Morphettville when held up in the straight. He loves it wet and will go close.
