CAULFIELD TRACKWORK

The Sportsman Weekend - - Friday Night Races -

CRACKING run by the evergreen CHARMED HARMONY last start, when starting way over the odds and almost scoring for the loyal readers.

He’ll take a power of beating when he steps out in the TB Club 50th year Stakes, 1440m.

Trained to the minute, went through his paces on Tuesday, 1000m clocking 1.03.50 and (23.98) last 400m.

The lightly raced NETHERFIELD, from the Mick Price stable, looks to be a promising staying prospect on what he’s shown in only four outings to date.

Steps up 2030m in the Chairman’s Stakes in Adelaide and on Tuesday morning he worked over 1600m in 1.50.50 and 24.03 last 400m. Solid work.

Big rise grade for JUDELLY who worked a last 1000m in 1.05.18 and 23.20 last 400m.

Each way again LAUCHETTI, continues to deliver when they step him up in grade, this time to a Benchmark 78, the No Fuss Event Hire Hcp, 1200m.

Comfortable work on Tuesday over 800m, clocking 53.52, last 400m in 24.51. Rock hard fit.

FOREIGN AFFAIR worked over 800m in 53.66, last 400m in (24.47) and is working into form.

Good run last start by the Henry Dwyertrained SNITTY KITTY who ran a gutsy second behind Merriest and she gets her chance to turn the tables in the Changing Places Hcp, 1100m.

Holding her condition well and wasn’t over extended in gallop during the week, when she went 1000m in 1.06.78 24.96 last 400m. Nice race for her.

AIRINO resumes for the Sadler Stable. Monitor moves. She breezed over 800m in 50.26 and 24.11 last 400m.

The Listed Thoroughbred Club Cup looks a hot race on paper. Pretty hard not to be impressed by the run of the Sadler-trained

SEIZED in Sires Produce Stks on April 22. Backing up after a week, shouldn’t be a maiden too much longer if he doesn’t break the drought here.

The Robert Smerdon-trained VERY CHOOSY resumes in the L.U Simon Builders Hcp, 1100m for the mares.

Showed up her most recent jump out and looks to have returned to racing in excellent order and should be in for a good prep. Always performed well fresh and there’s no reason she won’t run well. THE CHAIRMAN’S recent track work and first up suggest he can take out the treasury Wines Estate Hcp, second up over 1600m.
