Godolphin trio cover all bases

The Sportsman Weekend - - Latest Trackwork Times -

TEAM Godolphin have strong claims in the Fresh For Kids (1100m) two-year-old race at Rosehill tomorrow.

SIAM joined VIRIDINE on the Course Proper on Tuesday over 1000m running 1.08.42, final 400m in 24.3, last 200m in 11.3 with nothing between them.

Godolphin also has LEOGANG running and on Tuesday he worked with recent Canterbury winner Regent over 800m in 53.11, final 400m in 23.99, last 200m 11.31.

I have a slight leaning towards Viridine but Siam and Leogang will be competitive.

REGENT heads up to the Gold Coast to run in the Ken Russell Memorial Classic and will prove hard beat.

Also at the Gold Coast are stablemates FEDERAL (Prime Minister’s Cup) and TESSERA (Gold Coast Guineas) they did a nice piece of work on Tuesday morning.

Galloping the Course Proper over 1000m they recorded 1.08.26 overall, final 400m in 24.43, last 200m in 11.48.

They are both fit and healthy and will run well in their respective races. Back at Rosehill and MIAMI

DADE has done well since resuming over an unsuitable journey at Wyong when not beaten far.

He galloped solo on the Course Proper over 1000m in 1.08.7 final 400m in 24.43 last 200m 11.28.

He steps up to a more favourable distance the Everybody’s Body Handicap (1500m) tomorrow and will give you a good sight.

BONNY O’REILLY from the Bjorn Baker stable resumes tomorrow and she has been enjoying her work since coming back into training.

She had the benefit of two barrier trials and on Tuesday on the A Grass she wasn’t out to break records when working over 1000m in 1.10.11, final 400m in 25.25, last 200m in 12.36 on the bit.

She looks forward enough to run well in the last race tomorrow at Rosehill. The Joe Pride-trained I AM ZE

LADY was game first up at Randwick when finishing a close second to good mare Nieta.

She looked bright on Tuesday working on the Pro Ride over 600m in 36.99, last 400m in 24.33, final 200m in 11.98.

She runs at Morphettiville to- morrow in the Group 1 UBET Classic and with luck in running should figure finish. David Pfeiffer has I THOUGHT

SO entered at Rosehill and the Gold Coast and this talented galloper should not be taken lightly after his work on Tuesday.

He worked over 800m on the A Grass in 53.25, last 400m in 23.02, final 200m 11.02.

The John O’Shea-trained Miami Dade will appreciate the 1500m trip at Rosehill tomorrow
