Race 3: Le­gadema Slow to be­gin. J. Lloyd was ques­tioned re­gard­ing his tac­tics on the geld­ing. He stated that, hav­ing its first for the sta­ble, he had been in­structed to ride the geld­ing qui­etly from its wide bar­rier and set­tled at rear of t he field, how­ever he was dis­ap­pointed with the way the geld­ing fin­ished t race off, adding that it was in­clined to lay in un­der pres­sure. Trainer T. Ed­monds con­firmed the in­struc­tions to ride the geld­ing qui­etly. Mr Ed mondsw as ad­vised that should these in­struc­tions change, he would be ex­pected to no­tify the stewa rd sofa change of tac­tics. Added con­sid­ered im­prov­ing into a run be­tween STEEL ZIP and LORDAG how­ever, when she an­gled to take ad­van­tage of run STEEL ZIP shifted out slightly and was con­cerned there was in­suf­fi­cient room to im­prove

Lost the near hind plate in run­ning. Doomben 22/07/2017 Rul­ing Force Rider ques­tioned re r id­ing in home straight and rea­son for not tak­ing ad­van­tage of a run be­tween STEEL ZIP and LORDAG near 150m - ex­plained mount trav­el­ling well upon straight­en­ing and was held up for clear r un­ning un­til pass­ing the 200m.
