Race 2: 2 MY GIULIANO BOBS Ex­tra Bonus Scheme 12/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens Slow t o be­gin. 4 MULTIFACETS (NZ) 12/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens Shifted i n & made con­tact with an­other r nr shor tly af­ter star t. Rdr std in­str were to en­sure mount be­gan well from barr iers, as it had ten­dency to miss star t & been told take up a pos in be­hind leader. Added mount com­menced well & with mod tempo his mount was left in front de­spite the in­ten­tion for it to be r id­den qui­eter than it was. Trainer con­fir med in­struc­tions. 5 VAUCLUSE BAY BOBS Ex­tra Bonus Scheme 26/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens Be­gan awk. When qst re r id­ing, rdr std, as no­ti­fied mount would set­tle fur ther back & was able to take up trail­ing pos be­hind an­other r nr but when that r nr shifted off t o i mp near 900m felt at t his stage he was t oo far from fin­ish to place mount un­der pres­sure & for this rea­son elected t o re­main rac­ing in a mid pos. Fur ther std was held up mak­ing h/t, be­came awk placed on heels & un­able to i mp. Added could not test mount un­til appr 200m. 6 WAHNG WAH 16/08/2017 Can­ter­bur y Par k When qst re r id­ing, rdr std, as cus­tomar y mount set­tled to­wards rear of field as mount only has shor t spr int, & not to make too long r un if pos­si­ble. Added t hrough­out r ace mount was not trav­el­ling comf & when an­other r nr crossed near 800m, she awk placed on r nr’s heels un­til pass­ing 500m when t hat r nr shifted wider. Fur ther std im­me­di­ately placed mount un­der pres­sure in or­der to i mp where un­der pres­sure in straight, fin­ished its race off well. 7 PLY­MOUTH ROAD (NZ) 16/08/2017 Can­ter­bur y Par k Over con­clud­ing stages was checked and lost its r un­ning.

Race 3: 1 ZIN ZAN ED­DIE 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Raced keenly in t he mid­dle stages and was stead­ied away from heels. 2 EM­B­LEY 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick COT: op­tion to be rid­den more for­ward; set­tled on pace. Slow to be­gin. Raced wide with­out cover i n the ear ly and mid­dle stages and was i nclined to over­race. Re the per­for mance, rdr std his mount raced keenly in the r un and was left with­out cover. Added i n his view t he geld­ing was not suited by the man­ner i n which to­day’s race was run i t hat it de­vel­oped into a spr int home and i n his opin­ion was now look­ing for ad­di­tion ground. A post-race vet exam did not re­veal any abs. 3 MORE TO GAIN 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Ap­pli­ca­tion from co-trainer to with­draw the geld­ing on t he ba­sis t hat t he track con­di­tions i n her opin­ion had be­come some­what fir mer through­out the day due to the high winds. She felt be­cause the geld­ing had pre­vi­ously jarred up on tracks of this na­ture, she felt it was in the best in­ter­ests of the geld­ing to with­draw. Stew­ards ac­ceded re­quest and ad­vised her t hat in sit­u­a­tions where t he track is rated as sim­i­lar to toady she would be ex­pected with­draw the geld­ing. 5 MURAQABA 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Slow to be­gin. 7 MANDALONG KISS 12/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens Slow t o be­gin. Had dif­fi­culty ob­tain­ing clear r un­ning in ear ly par t of the straight & near 100m had to be stead­ied & shifted to out­side of an­other r un­ner t o con­tinue i nto clear un­ning.

Race 4: 1 LAST TRY WINS 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick When qst re r id­ing i n the mid stgs & rea­son he raced wide with­out cover, rdr std af­ter mak­ing the first tur n was aware

r un­ner pos t o his i nside was rac­ing keenly & be­came awk­ward on heels, for this rea­son he elected not to shift in. Std was con­tent race wide as his mount takes some time to re­spond & he in­tended to im­prove into the event. Std near the 600m when the win­ner im­proved to his in­side he shifted off, re­sult­ing in hav­ing to cover ad­di­tional ground round­ing the home tur n. 3 SU­PER STAR BOB 9/08/2017 Can­ter­bur y Park Crowded on jump­ing for room. Near the 700m com­menced to over­race and was stead­ied away from heels. Post race veter inar y exam re­vealed no abs. 8 MAKFI LASS 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Slow to be­gin. 10 VALKNUT 18/08/2017 Bathurst Rdr std mount trav well in ear ly stages, how­ever ceased trav near 400m when struck wet sec­tion of track. Post race vet exam did not rev any abs. 11 KENDALMAN 15/08/2017 Beau­mont New­cas­tle Over­raced in the ear ly and mid­dle stages. 12 GRUNDALINA 22/08/2017 Muswell­brook Slow to be­gin, then had to be checked when rac­ing in re­str icted room pass­ing the 1000m. Rider ex­plained that although his mount was not pos­sessed of ear ly speed he had in­tended to be for­ward of mid­field in the stages, how­ever af­ter be­ing slow away and then in­ci­dent at the 1000m he was fur ther back than in­tended. Post race vet re­vealed no abs. 14 CHADANA 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Slow to be­gin. For some dis­tance near the 600m was held up and un­able to im­prove. 18e BONSLEY 13/08/2017 Nar­romine Over­raced. Raced greenly in straight. Ran out abr up­tly near 100m. Must tr ial. Passed tr ial Can­berra 25/8/17.

Race 5: 2 THE MON­STAR 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Made con­tact with an­other r un­ner at the star t. Over­raced i n the mid­dle stages. 4 FE­LINES 22/07/2017 Royal Rand­wick Held up for clear r un­ning in the ear ly par t of t he straight and when en­deav­our­ing i nto a run to the out­side an­other r un­ner made con­tact with t he hindquar ter & be­came un­bal­anced. Failed to ob­tain com­pletely clear r un­ning un­til the 200m.

Af­ter be­ing crowded af­ter star t, l ost ad­di­tional ground & set­tled to­wards rear. Added in ear ly par t of straight was held up for clear r un­ning & un­able to fully test his mount un­til near 50m where shifted t o out­side of an­other r nr t se­cure clear r un­ning. A post race vet exam rev filly had a speedy cut to near-hind fet­lock & was displ poor post race rec. Tr n ad­vised vet clear­ance req pr ior to rac­ing. Clear

Race 7: 8 SAR­RASIN (GB) 12/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens Got its head up on j ump­ing. Stead­ied and shifted in be­hind r un­ners shor tly af­ter the star t. 9 LIFE LESS OR­DI­NARY (IRE) 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Be­gan awk­wardly. Over the fi­nal 200m was i nclined to l ay out. 11 WINX 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Rdr std that the mare was frac­tious i n t he barr iers and as a con­se­quence was as­sisted by the barr ier at­ten­dant, who held her head to the side, as is usual prac­tice. He std the barr ier at­ten­dant straight­ened her in prepa­ra­tion for the star t, how­ever as t he star ter re­leased the field the mare si­mul­ta­ne­ously be­came frac­tious and at­tempted to rear. As a re­sult the at­ten­dant was re­quired to fur ther as­sist in set­tling her and con­se­quently this re­sulted in the mare miss­ing the star t by 4 lengths.

Race 8: 5 ZANBAGH 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Be­gan awk­wardly. 7 I NVINCIBLE GEM 5/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Made con­tact with an­other r un­ner at t he star t. 9 TOM MEL­BOURNE (IRE) 12/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens When un­able t o ob­tain clear r un­ning i n the straight, i n par­tic­u­lar near 150m had to be se- verely checked to avoid heels & in do­ing so shifted in, made con­tact with an­other r un­ner

Race 9: 1 MARENOSTRO (NZ) 22/07/2017 Royal Rand­wick Raced keenly in the ear ly and mid­dle stages. Near t he 800m com­menced to shift out in an en­deav­our im­prove and

do­ing so made con­tact with an­other r un­ner, which re­sulted in t he geld­ing be­ing shifted back to the fence. A post-race veter inar y ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed a healing su­per­fi­cial abra­sion to the off-side fet­lock. 4 ROCKET COM­MAN­DER 19/08/2017 Royal Rand­wick Over the fi­nal stages could not be t ested when placed close to he heels of an­other r un­ner, which shifted out slightly. 7 WASH­ING­TON HEIGHTS 12/08/2017 Rose­hill Gar­dens Rdr std i nstr t o set­tle where comf & geld trav­elled well i n posn on rail.Std when r nr ad­vance shifted out from 500m im­proved to in­side as track favoured r nrs rac­ing to­wards rail. Std i mproved t o posn trail­ing favoured nr, how­ever when it be­came held up had to check geld near 300m & was t hen un­able to ob­tain clear r un­ning & went t o li ne with­out be­ing tested.Tnr conf i nstr.Rdr was told while de­ci­sion to i mprove on rail was not un­rea­son­able should at­tempt t o find clear r un­ning wher­ever pos­si­ble. 12 FREE STAND­ING 3/08/2017 Coffs Har­bour Raced wide i n the ear ly and mid­dle stages.
