The Sportsman Weekend - - The Trackwork Winners - TIM PAYNE

VIGILANCE from the James Cummings stable resumed at Randwick two weeks back and made up good ground in the straight after being last on the turn.

She has benefited greatly from run after looking above herself in condition and she did a nice piece of work on the Pro Ride Tuesday.

Working with a mate over 1000m they where timed to run 1.08 final 400m in 23.71 last 200m in 11.42.

She looks to get good run in race eight tomorrow and will be hard beat.

Stablemate RHEINGAU and DYNAMITED trialled in the same heat at Warwick Farm although the overall time was slow they showed ability.

Tuesday on the Pro Ride they worked together over 800m in 53.61 final 400m in 24.31 last 200m in 11.46. They both contest race one at Rosehill tomorrow and should go well.

HE’S A GIVEN from the Clarry Connors yard is not an easy horse to catch but his work recently has been hard to fault.

Tuesday on the Pro Ride he worked strongly over 1000m in 1.05 final 400m in 23.31 last 200m in 11.42 on the bridle.

He has drawn a touch awkward in the last race tomorrow but with the possibility of a rain affected track he could improve.

MAGICAZ resumed over 1000m at Warwick Farm a fortnight back and ran on well for third.

Last Tuesday she galloped on the A Grass over 800m in 50.87 with splits of 23.79 and 11.8.

David Pfeiffer has been happy with her work and with sound second-up form will go close in race four tomorrow.

Gary Portelli looks to have a nice two-year-old running in race one tomorrow after she showed good speed winning both her barrier trials in good style.

SECRET LADY has done everything right and Tuesday on the Pro Ride she had an easy time over 800m in evens which topped her off nicely for Saturday.
