Zourkhan primed land a hat-trick
ZOURKHAN has been in career best form winning his last two starts, the latest at Randwick on October 6 beating stablemate Abdon by a length and a quarter on a heavy 9 track.
He goes to Randwick tomorrow for the ATC La Boheme Pinot Noir Rose Handicap (1800m) and trainer Chris Waller has engaged Brenton Avdulla to ride the in-form Shamardal gelding.
His work on the Pro Ride last Saturday was good as usual when timed over 1000m in 1:10.20, with a final 400m in 24.70, was pleasing work.
Zourkhan should bring up a hat-trick at headquarters on the weekend where his trainer had four of the nine runners engaged.

She can win either race for Chris Waller who is great at backing horses up and he will pick the right race to run in.
SAMBRO can win at Randwick in the ATC Robrick Lodge Filante Handicap (1400m) tomorrow for Chris Waller and Tommy Berry.
He has now had the two runs this preparation and was a winner third-up last preparation.
Sambro worked on the inside grass, 5m out, a slow track over 1000m Tuesday morning running 1:11.50 with a final 400m in a good 24.50 and it getting fitter with every gallop.
SAVACOOL and RAQEEQ are both trained by Chris Waller and will run in the ATC Cellarbrations Handicap (2000m) at Randwick tomorrow and have winning prospects.
Savacool is backing up after a good win on the Kensington track where Savabeel mare won by two lengths going away from stablemate MISS SHANTI won October 17.
Raqeeq, meanwhile, is very fit after eight runs this preparation, his latest a third to Cosmologist at Randwick on October 6 beaten two lengths on a Heavy 9 which does not suit the Champs Elyees five-year-old import.
He only worked slowly on Tuesday morning cantering two laps on the B Track but is a good worker when required.
CHARGE goes to Moonee Valley on either Friday or Saturday for Chris Waller and Hugh Bowman and has good winning prospects.
