Waller mare Eyeing off a Rosehill victory

The Sportsman Weekend - - The Trackwork Winners - JOHN MOC

THE Chris Waller-trained SEXY EYES looked good winning at Royal Randwick last start and she can make it back-to-back wins at Rosehill Gardens tomorrow.

The daughter of Written Tycoon came from near last before sweeping past Stella Victoria to score by a commanding three and quarter lengths in class record time.

Waller has found another winnable race for the fiveyear-old in the Benchmark 88 for fillies and mares (1500m) with Tye Angland booked to ride.

On Tuesday morning, she worked on the Inside Grass over 100m in 1.09.20 with her last 400m 24.30 without pressure.

It was a lovely piece of work which has her in good shape for home track win tomorrow.

CHAUSSURE was resuming from a two year break when finishing a halflength fourth behind Gitan at Randwick a fortnight ago.

It was very pleasing effort after such long lay-off and looks a terrific chance to return to the winners’ circle tomorrow in the Benchmark 78 Eden Bar Homes (1400m).

The five-year-old son of Jimmy Choux worked quite well when partnered by Home Scene on the Inside Grass on Tuesday morning, clocking 1.08.00 for the 1000m with their last 400m in 24.70.

Stablemate SO YOU WIN resumes in the same race and cannot be taken lightly.

The staying son of So You Think has his share ability and watch for any positive market moves.

He too worked well on Tuesday morning alongside stablemate Wristband the Inside Grass in 1.08.80 with their last 400m covered in 24.50 which was pleasing work from the pair.

SOLO MISSION and MEROVEE both contest the Australian Turf Club Benchmark 78 (2000m) tomorrow.

Solo Mission was safely beaten by Sky Boy last start at Randwick when secondup.

He meets his rival 3kg better at the weights tomorrow and with added fitness, will make his presence felt.

Her worked over 1000m on Tuesday morning in 1.08.10 with a final 400m 24.60.

Merovee is backing-up after running a terrific race when fourth behind Don’t Give A Damn here last week and the step up to 2000m looks ideal.

The son of Frankel was given easy work during the week, stretching his legs over 1000m in 1.18.60 with his last 400m 27.90.

He is my pick the race.
